Simpson Studio is an award-winning architecture and interior design studio with studios in London and Edinburgh, working across the UK and internationally. We create distinctive, enduring places through one integrated process, bringing architecture, interiors and in-house making together from first idea to final detail.

We believe the strongest projects are conceived as a whole. Our architects, interior designers and makers work together from the outset, considering structure, space, material, furniture and detail as connected parts of the same idea.
This continuity protects the design intent as a project develops, creates greater clarity for our clients and allows decisions to be resolved with care from planning through to construction and the final pieces made for a space.
Architecture
From feasibility and planning to technical design and construction, we lead projects through every stage with a balance of design ambition, rigour and practical delivery.
Interiors
Interior architecture, material palettes, lighting, kitchens, bathrooms, FF&E, procurement and styling are developed as part of the wider architectural idea.
MadeBy
Our in-house workshop designs and makes bespoke cabinetry, joinery and furniture. It gives us an unusually direct relationship with materials, craftsmanship and the final detail of a project.

Playrooms, children's clubs, family hospitality and spaces designed specifically around children, play, development, independence and shared family experience.
Our studios in London and Edinburgh give Simpson Studio a strong presence in two of the UK's most important architectural and design centres. From these studios we work across England and Scotland, and internationally, bringing local knowledge, heritage expertise and a global design outlook to projects of very different scales and settings.
