Blackened Steel
In this study we designed and built a bespoke writing desk, shelves to sit either side of the fireplace, and a freestanding bookcase with floating shelves and generous storage.
All pieces were made from English Ash, with charred Ash legs for the desk and accents of hand blackened steel throughout providing frames and structure.
Each piece was designed for a specific use and function within our Grove Park project, with the joinery accommodating concealed printers and file storage, as well as a hidden drawer below the desk providing power and storage for stationery and note books.
