Certain simple design decisions can make a big impact on an interior. At Simpson Studio we relish working out the smaller details to maximise and enhance every space we design, so were very pleased to have been included in this article in Time & Leisure magazine highlighting details that make a big impact.
For our Melody Road project we utilised a LED lighting strip to enhance a stairwell bookcase and installed a swing to a steel beam in the kitchen - making a feature of a structural element rather than masking it.
A thoughtful and innovative choice of materials is an impactful element of every interior design project - in this family home in Exeter, we used sheets of hand-blackend steel to wrap around the hearth.
