This Victorian property in London had limited space for cooking and dining, with the space at the back of the property feeling dark and disconnected. We proposed a side and rear extension to improve the amount of space and connection of living spaces. Creating sightlines from the front of the house all the way through to the new extension and garden. We played with scale and proportion in the new extension, flooded the new kitchen and dining room with light, and reimagining the traditional bay window at the front in a cantilevered zinc clad window seat on the new side extension.
